The following list contains some of those bird species that can be regarded as "regular" in Hungary. i.e. birds which occur every year and which a visiting birder (in the appropriate season) stands a good to reasonable chance of seeing. Some vagrant, rare and very localised species have thus been omitted though they may actually occur annually. This is not a list of all the birds which have ever occurred in Hungary.
