Our team includes the best birding guides in Hungary. We all speak English and are available all year round. Since the 1980s we have assisted numerous couples, groups of friends, families, bird clubs and tour company groups. We cater for all styles and kinds of birder - target birders, world listers, ornithologists, photographers, sound recordists and general lovers of the outdoors. Everyone is most welcome. We operate a friendly ‘meet & greet’ service, collecting you at your hotel, airport, indeed at any location in Hungary.

 

Customised Trips - We specialise in birding trips tailored to suit your needs, taking in the habitats you wish to visit, the birds you want to see, the time you have available and doing this at a pace determined by you. Our unparalleled experience and a wealth of local knowledge goes into planning your itinerary. Join us for a few hours, a day, or for as long as you wish.

 

Target Birding - We pioneered the concept of target birding in Hungary, helping visiting birders see those rare or tricky species that had previously eluded them, so-called ‘bogey birds’. To date, we have shown over 300 species to our guests..

 

Costs - We do not offer off-the-peg itineraries at fixed rates. Rather, trips are designed and operated specifically for you. Prices take into account the number of persons, duration of the trip, pick-up and drop-off points, mode of transport (our vehicle, your vehicle, hire-vehicle), mileage, etc. Hence, there will be no ‘hidden extras’. Payments can be made in USD, GBP, EURO or HUF. Email us with your wants and needs and we will provide a quote in the currency of your choice.
